Throughout my 30 year career as an architect, I was busy taking photos wherever I travelled whether for work or fun. My first piece of equipment was a Canon AE-1 35mm film camera and shot mainly transparencies throughout Italy while I was studying architecture in Florence. I preserved those slides over the years images and subsequently scanned and saved each image as a hi-res TIFF file. Many of which are available as 8 x 10 prints for purchase.
Now a semi-retired as an architect, I am back in full swing as a fine art photogragher with two Canon EOS 5D Mark IIIs matched Canon Series G lenses and several Tilt and Shift persepctive correcting lenses. When shooting architecture and landscapes, I choose not to manipulate tilting vertical lines with software and rely on the the precise image capturing ability of these lenses.
